Tomato and red pepper broth soup

TIPS

I used beef broth with this soup, although you can use our chicken broth too. This soup was also made in a slow cooker.

TOTAL COOKING TIME: 3 hours and 15-minutes
TOTAL PREP TIME: 15-minutes

INGREDIENTS:

4 large tomatoes
2 red peppers
400ml Boil and Broth beef bone broth
200ml filtered water
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp turmeric
2 tbsp tomato puree
1 tbsp mixed herbs

METHOD

  1. Deseed the red peppers and add them to the slow cooker with the tomatoes. Have the slow cooker on high, then add the broth and the water.
  2. After 3-hours turn the slow cooker off and blend the soup mixture together.
  3. Add the spices, mixed herbs and tomato puree.
  4. Serve with sourdough bread.
